00:00Today, I am playing OG Crystal PvP Kit, and basically what that means is Diamond Armor,
00:05no Netherite, and no Respawn Anchors. This is actually the kit I started learning Crystal PvP
00:10on in 2020, 5 years ago. Obviously, there was no Netherite back then, the Nether update wasn't
00:15even out, so yeah, no Respawn Anchors yet, and all people knew how to do was this Hit Crystal.
00:20They didn't even use Slow Falling yet, to be honest, which just goes to show how much the
00:23game mode has evolved in just a couple years. And I wanted to play it because this is actually my
00:27favorite PvP mode of all time, because, well look, it's a lot simpler, and you don't have to
00:33rebuild whole fights, there's no anchors. So literally the whole thing about this game mode
00:37is just being able to hit Crystal and use this knockback 1 sword to hit people up, you can do
00:41that. If you're a more casual player and you just want to have a more chill, laid-back game mode
00:46where
00:46you don't have to use 200 IQ all the time, this might be the game mode for you. The problem
00:50is,
00:50it's really outdated, no one uses it anymore, so you're probably not going to see it a lot or be
00:54able to practice it a lot, but I thought, hey, why not do it for a video? Because I know
00:58a lot of
00:58you have played this mode, but probably haven't seen it played in a video for like literally five
01:02years. So that's what we're doing today. The whole thing about this mode is just being able to hit
01:06Crystal as well as use Pearl Flashes, which is like this, where you enderpearl at the ground and hit
01:12them up while you have a damage tick, because when you take damage for the enderpearl, you cannot get
01:17knocked in the air, which obviously that's OP, because when you're in the air, that's how you get killed
01:22from end crystals. Sword skills is actually a pretty big part of this game mode, because
01:26if you can outreach people, you can just get free hits in, be able to hit Crystal them up. There
01:31we
01:31go. There's two more Totem Pops. Let's keep going here, and there we go. So this is the other server,
01:36which actually has this as an official kit. I don't have my hotbar customized yet, but it's fine,
01:41because Pearl wants a screenshot. If you guys are wondering how I got this hotbar, because it looks
01:44really goofy. Basically, this player named MichaelCycle00, you might know him, was teaching me Crystal
01:49PvP five years ago, and was like, you know, let's just use a hotbar no one else in the world
01:54will
01:54use. So if you watch his videos on YouTube, we now have the same hotbar, I think, and pretty much
01:59no
01:59one else uses it in the world. Fun little story, I guess. Okay, but here we go. We're into the
02:04next
02:04game already. I wasn't even focusing on the game, because I was just doing story time there, but you
02:09can see this game mode can be pretty fun if you can play aggro and just keep punishing them. Well,
02:15let's
02:15heal now. You can see I'm using a saturation mod. You can see on my hunger bar, there's a
02:19little yellow bars, and if you don't know what that is, it basically shows you how much you're
02:22going to heal. I'm actually using it because y'all in the comments are recommending it. But this guy,
02:26you can see, he knows how to hit Crystal, but it appears he's pretty new to it. We just double
02:31tapped him. Let's do that again. I love this mode, and I forgot to save my hotbar again. All right,
02:36it's fine. Only takes a couple seconds, as you can see, and we're good to go now. I don't think
02:41I
02:41need this. We already have the effects on. Yikes. This is the same guy. That was pretty good,
02:48though. He's low right now. Punish him. Okay, nice. He popped. Now we can play aggro,
02:54and that's another double tap. As you guys can see, these rounds can go pretty fast if people
02:59don't know how to double hand totems, which I love. Also, since I'm trying to get better in every game
03:04mode, because I'm trying to tier test in every game mode soon, for this video, every subscriber I get,
03:09I will do one PvP duel in any mode. Doesn't matter which mode, because I need to get better in
03:14all of
03:14them. And yes, I can see how many of you actually subscribe from each video, so if you want to

03:44this is like a game mode that I guess not a lot of people play nowadays, so hey, we're probably
03:48going to get some new people. I keep forgetting to make my hotbar, it's fine. Oh, he's asking for
03:53a screenshot. I bet. As you can see, good example, sword skill is very important in this mode.
04:02You can combine it with the hit crystal like that, or with the double tap. Yo, Loki, I have not

04:42why it's my favorite mode. I'm kind of stuck at it compared to before, I'm not going to lie. It
04:46hasn't been a few years, but hey, we also haven't lost yet, so not terrible, I think. Oops. This also
04:51lets me kind of train my sword skill a little bit. Not really, but I have been practicing sword.
04:57Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. That was a really good example of using your sword to combo there. Okay,

05:08Okay, we're actually going to have to use pearl flashing more, not just sword skill.
05:13So, the pearl flash technique kind of counters the sword, because you can just avoid being hit.
05:20Alright, good thing is we do have a lot of pearls, so we can abuse the pearl flash,
05:24but we don't have a lot of totems left. We got three. We're going to have to make a comeback

05:28somehow. Alright, what's the strat? Just spam pearls, I think. Uh-oh. Yeah, bro's not bad,
05:36I'm not going to lie. How are we going to beat him though? Nice, we got a totem pop there.
05:41I got another one, because he was jumping. Something people do a lot if they don't play
05:45crystal is jump, which, especially in diamond, is really bad, because you're going to take a lot
05:51more damage from the end crystals if you're in the air. Alright, while I have time here,
05:55I'm going to mend up my armor, because that might be a problem. In the OG crystal kit,
06:00there is mending on the armor, so that's pretty nice. Okay, nice, we're maxed out, and now let's
06:05go back in. Keeping in mind, I want max saturation at all times for my best possible chance to win,
06:10okay. I'm low here, so let's be careful. Ooh, that was clean, that was clean. We had a little
06:16sword combo into the hit crystal there. I'm about to run out of potions too, so. Uh-oh.
06:22Oh, I wonder how many totems he has left. I don't know. Oh my gosh. Oh, there. Okay,

07:15the whole video, so if we're gonna beat him, we're gonna have to make a comeback here somehow. This is
07:19definitely gonna be the hardest round yet. We need to come back here. Oh my god! We just double tapped
07:26him. Okay, you know what? Looking back, I think what happened there was he enderpearled onto my
07:31hitbox to try to pearl flash, but since I was crystalline while he did it, he pearled onto the
07:35endercrystal hitbox, which kept him midair, and let me double tap him. That was kind of lucky.
07:40GG's though. And we keep recording. Let's go. All right, so I've been recording for like 30 minutes,
07:45and I still haven't lost, so I was like, I'll switch to this other server to see if these people
07:49are
07:49better, and might be able to kill me. Bro, this guy just asked in the chat, can I get a
07:53screenie?
07:54But he forgot the spacebar between A and SS. I haven't fought these people before,
07:59because we are on a new server, so hey, maybe the people on this server are good,
08:04and they can finally kill me, so we can end the video. But if not, we gotta keep going.
08:09Let's find out, though. Oh, here we go. Also, the people on this server are low ping,
08:14because they're all West players, which is where I'm at, so we can actually hit them.

08:40Right when they're healing is when you have the best chance to double tap them,
08:44unless they hold two totems. But if they're gapping, then they're holding one totem,
08:48so it's a good chance to kill them. Okay. I can't seem to pop this totem. Okay,
08:55bro's sword comboing me. We might have a challenge here. I don't think I've popped the totem yet,
09:00but bro's definitely better than some of the other people we fought. So, here we go.
09:08Dang. He didn't pop from that? He still hasn't popped? That's crazy. But we just feel tankier.

09:34And we gotta switch servers. We gotta go to the professional server. West PvP. So, out of all the
09:40servers I played, this one has probably the best players on average. So, if there's ever time for
09:45us to lose, this is the place. Only problem is I have to actually make the kit. So, one second.
09:50All right. So, I asked in the chat, anyone classic crystal 1v1? And we immediately got three
09:54teepees. So, we will see if this guy has what it takes to finally kill me. Nobody else has done

10:00yet. And I just realized there's no arrows. There's a bow, but no arrows. It's fine. We don't even use
10:05the bow anyways. Okay, here we go. Oh, he did the pearl flash technique. Okay, he knows how to double
10:10tap. He knows how to hit crystal. Oh, shoot. Okay, let's actually pearl. This guy might be the one who
10:16ends it all, guys. Okay, he's playing defense. He's waiting for me to hit crystal, or to pearl flash first.

10:30there. You guys saw he jumped when I tried to hit him, and he got knocked away, which makes hitting

10:46not get double tapped, which nobody else in the video has done yet. I tried to predict this jump
10:52there, but he did a pretty good timing. Here we go. Heal up. Get the max saturation. Let's pearl in.
11:00Okay, nice. Yeah, he is double handing totems. This guy's good. Nice. Totem pop there. You can
11:05keep playing aggro because I'm full HP still. Uh-oh. Never mind. That was a little close. Okay,
11:15uh, nice. We have XP. Let's do that really quick. The armor HUD mod is pretty nice, so you know

11:22to heal. Okay, again, get to max saturation. Might as well. And let's pearl in. Okay, nice.
11:31Oof. You see, I tried to hit him up there, but he did not take knockback because of the pearl
11:34damage.
11:37Okay. Uh-oh. What the? I was, like, standing on obsidian somehow. That was a long out pearl,
11:43but at least he only got one totem pop. Hey, we're ready to go back in. This guy's probably
11:49the best person we've fought so far, which is to be expected of this server. Oh. I predicted
11:57his jump that time. You can see, instead of hitting him that time, I just let him jump instead.
12:03Okay. We've played enough aggro there. Let's heal and also get some more mending. I feel like the
12:08mending is going to be a problem in this because, uh, we have a lot of totems, but not infinite
12:13mending.
12:14XP bottles. Okay. He's double-handing the totems here. Can we do it? Oof. That was clean.
12:21This is going to be hard. Okay. As soon as he pearls away and heals, I'm going to predict this
12:26jump and just not hit him with my sword. Oof. Okay. He's good. He's good. Nice. We also might
12:35run out of pearls, Loki. I should have added more ender pearls to this. It's fine. It's fine.

13:07Got to abuse the pearl flash technique a lot if you want to win here, because he's also

13:25hard to predict his movements here, which is how you should play. I could have shot that

13:37now, because we just got him in a hit crystal there. Okay. Nice. He popped himself. Perfect.

13:48a bait. He wants me to pearl on there, but that's not what you want to do. Couldn't quite
13:54catch him there. Okay. Nice. I can use the cactus to take knock back. Never mind. That is not

14:40cannot let him use these slow 4 arrows. Although that would make it a little more of a challenge,
14:44so maybe we should let him use them. I don't care. At this point, we're trying to lose so we

16:08let me break down what just happened. I was gapping and I didn't think he was going to play
16:11that aggro so I just kept gapping without holding my totem. But then for some reason,
16:16I jumped while I didn't have a totem on and I was close enough for the crystals to kill
