00:00Today I am playing the gamemode Diamond Pot, which is similar to just OP duels, normal sword,
00:05except with a lot more. As you can see, you have a bunch of health potions,
00:09and as well as Speed 2, Strength 2, and also Regen pots. This is a gamemode that I played
00:14for a while. I would consider myself decent at it compared to a few other gamemodes like UHC
00:19or Shield that I don't play a lot, but this gamemode is still a hard one because you need
00:25fast reactions, inventory management, and be able to pressure people when you know they are low HP.
00:33So I guess in today's video, we're just going to kind of commentate on everything I'm thinking,
00:38hopefully win most of these so you guys know that I know what I'm talking about,
00:41but also at the same time I'm practicing it because I am also bad at it. As you might know,
00:45we are learning every gamemode for a tier test in every gamemode by the end of summer.
00:50Um, aiming for tier 3 at the least, so yeah, we're going to have to improve in this mode a
00:55lot.
00:56Um, the thing about this mode is that you need to be able to click fast into your inventory
01:01and get some more health potions when you need them because you die pretty fast in this mode.
01:05Like, it takes like 4 or 5 crits, I think, for you to die. And as you can see, since
01:08he's low here
01:09now, I'll just pressure him, not let them get the upper hand or a chance to heal. Okay, now I
01:14will heal
01:15because I've had Fitch P, but like, look, if you win an exchange, you have to be able to like,
01:21just jump on them, crit them non-stop, because that is how you win in this. Constant pressure.
01:27Kind of like Crystal. I mean, I guess you can say that for any gamemode, but especially this gamemode,
01:32having good offense is key. Um, but also good defense when you need to heal, like right there.
01:40He was good at that. He was critting me from like, really far away because he knew I was low.
01:46So, basically, um, if you win an exchange in this, just crit spam them as much as you can
01:52before the heal. Uh-oh, I got my pots ran out. And if you're dying, you gotta be able to
01:57throw
01:57out all your health pots before you die. And a lot of people aren't used to the timing,
02:02but you gotta heal basically when you're at like, half HP. Otherwise, if you wait too long,
02:06you are probably dead. You die really fast in this. Okay, I just missed everything there. Whoops.
02:11Heal again. Luckily, this is like a pretty even fight, so not having to try hard or anything,
02:18but I'm still able to commentate fine and like, think about the game as well. I don't know if
02:24you guys have ever tried to speak, like commentate while you're playing a game, but it's kind of hard
02:28sometimes. But like, right now, I'm kind of just pressuring him. Oh, we're gonna heal now.
02:33I guess a good skill in this game mode also is like, oh, GG, being able to memorize your hotbar
02:39slots and all their hotkeys because you need to be fast at using your health potions. But yeah,
02:45I honestly like this game mode a lot. It's kind of like, um, netherite potion except more strafing
02:51than crit spam because it is diamond armor, so you take more knockback and it lets you basically combo
02:56more so you can strafe like this. 360. Oh, he ran out of the combo. Whoops. But yeah,
03:02if you get really good at this, you can start like doing something called an S tap,
03:06which is where you hit, press S to walk backwards and go in for another. Against new players,
03:10it can be really effective. Like right here, I'm doing it kind of, and bro can barely touch me.
03:14But against a good player, you're probably not gonna be able to do that. But this game mode is fun
03:19because you can do that. And it can make for some really cool looking combos, like kind of like OG
03:24PVP. This is how it used to be before netherite, obviously. Diamond. Who needs to heal?
03:28Well, I could have killed him there if I was trying to play more offensive. But as you can see,
03:34you can do just fine in this mode without even critting. And you die pretty fast, as you just
03:38saw. Now, against a good player, you know, you're gonna need to crit. I'm not the best at that. I
03:44don't know like when you're supposed to crit versus strafe. I guess it really depends on the matchup.
03:48But if we're fighting someone good here, I'll try to show off more crit spam. But I don't see
03:54prefer just strafing. It's more fun to me. You can combine it with some crits mid combo like that.
03:58Uh, is this guy gonna... Okay. Bro just stopped fighting. But if we can get someone good to
04:03fight me, I'll try to showcase like how fast you need to organize your inventory and pull out some
04:08more potions to heal with. Because yeah, it is definitely the hardest part of this, being able
04:12to like manage your inventory efficiently. But for now, if we can, I'll just try to strafe. Do some
04:18combos because that's what this mode is all about. That's why I find it fun. Okay, right here,
04:22we're gonna heal. As you can see, I spent like half a second or less in my inventory to get
04:26that
04:26one potion. If you're being crit spammed though, it can be a lot harder because you need to do it
04:31while you're running. Like mid run, you gotta like get more pots out. But you guys will see that as
04:36we fight better people hopefully. But for this game, it seems like it's more chill. I can just kind of
04:42combo bro. I am able to use some of my sword skills I've been learning from Theobald the bird, if
04:47you know
04:47him, taught me a couple things about sword, which can be applied to this game mode. It's just a
04:52little harder because you have speed too. And yeah, it can be harder to aim because of that. And also
05:00with the strength too, which there isn't strength in the normal OP kit, you die faster. So you gotta
05:07be more careful as we see here. But yeah, I'm curious, like what is your guys' favorite game modes
05:12on any of these servers? Leave it in the comments because I'm curious to know which y'all play. I'm
05:16gonna guess it's mostly crystal or like SMP because that's what my audience is. But maybe a lot of you

06:06my effects. I got this because one of you guys in the comments was like, yo, here's a tip. Get

06:11new mod that shows you your potion timers without even having to open your inventory. So thanks

06:53really fun because compared to any other mode, you can have the craziest combos, which is like
06:58looks cool for montages. You feel good when you get in a combo. However, when you're getting
07:04comboed and crit spammed, it is not fun. Oh my gosh. Bro was just on like one health there.
07:10Oh, you don't want to be in the corner though. That is how you get critted out.
07:13That was a little close. If I didn't pop there in time, like bro would have killed me.
07:18Get some more potions out really quick. I don't have any more stakes, so no more natural regen.

07:34As you can see, like if you're on two hearts, one crit is going to kill you. So that's why

07:39important thing is just looking at your health, making sure you can heal in time. I like this mode
07:43as well because you start at potions already. You don't have to throw your potions down. Kind of
07:47convenient. Oh my gosh. Okay. What am I doing? We're throwing. He's comboing me now. You can notice
07:53how fast I'm in inventory. Like it takes a split second to get more potions out. That's how you
07:59should be timing it. I think he's dead. Oh my gosh. You guys saw? I noticed he only threw one
08:05health pot, so that's why I kept playing offense. And as you saw, bro died in like one second.

08:56there, this is a good example. I was watching his HP, so I did three normal hits and then he

09:02at like 10 HP, which is five hearts. And that's when I started to stop strafing and instead keep
09:08going forward for a crit spam because I knew it'd only be a couple crits until he's dead. He sent

09:13another duel, so we can do a rematch. He says, wait, let me try my fan. All right. All right,
09:18here we go. Bro's ready. First turtle. Let's go. Okay. Nice. He's down a pot right now.
09:26Okay. Nice. Little combo. We're playing in his face and it's working better than the strafing,
09:31to be honest. Okay. Nice. He's dead. Yeah. As you can see, he tried to throw the health pot,
09:36but it was not fast enough. You need to be really fast. Okay. So there's some other people sending
09:41me duels, so I'm going to just accept them and see what happens. It could be good. Maybe they've
09:45never played this mode, but only one way to find out. They sent me a duel, so maybe they actually
09:50play it. This guy's using left hand as well. It instantly gives you more reach, by the way.

10:02against Blockbuster 2KM. Get ready, Blockbuster. Bro just threw potions, even though we already have

10:17lagging. He has 270 MS. Look how late he takes knockback. This is what I was talking about. I
10:23cannot S-tap really against this guy. It's not going to work. I think against a lag like this,
10:28guys, it's better to probably just crit spam them, by the guess. I think that works better just from
10:34experience, but maybe there's something else you can do. Who knows? Works for me. Next duel. We're

11:02You do have to be careful, though. He's getting me pretty low as well. So get some more potions
11:07really quick. I keep messing up the potions thing. You'll see I'll pause for a second.
11:11It's kind of precise. You definitely need to practice it because it's easy to mess it up
11:15when you are low HP and you need more pots. And honestly, no one so far has gotten me really
11:20low
11:21besides the one guy who beat me. So I want to try to fight someone who I can use a
11:26bunch of health
11:27pots on to show you how long these games can go for. But yeah, as you can see, I didn't
11:32even need
11:32to heal once there. Okay. I said this in one of the last videos, but this server needs matchmaking.
11:37I don't know if it has it or not, but it doesn't seem like it. What I mean by that
11:40is
11:41it forces you to fight better players who are closer to your skill level based on your win rate
11:46or something because so far it seems like I'm just fighting new players back to back.
11:52And I kind of want my fights to ramp up based on how many I win, you know? So I
11:57can fight people
11:58who are similar to my skill level while it's more entertaining. But hey, you guys probably like
12:03watching me roll everyone too by the guess. Oh my gosh, we should probably heal. Something else
12:09about this mode is that if you're close to someone when they heal, like you can get their potions as
12:13well. There we go. There's the win. Like good players are probably not going to heal you. They're
12:18going to turn around and pot so that you don't get healed. But it's just something to know in case
12:22you're crit spamming them and they need to heal. Maybe you can get some more health from it.
12:27All right, here we go. This guy's a new guy. We haven't fought him yet. Just crit him out.
12:31Okay, we are already starting the combo. Here we go. Oh, he's actually kind of scary. I can't tell
12:40how good these people are the first game I fight them. There's a little combo. Nice. Oh my gosh,
12:45that's close. Okay, there we go. Yeah, if you get the advantage early on, like the first two or three
12:51hits, you basically win the exchange. Oh my gosh. I almost messed up there because I ate my steak
12:56instead of healed. Gotta be careful of that. Make your eating timings precise and make sure you
13:01don't accidentally like eat your steak when you're trying to run or something or get more health pots
13:05in because that can mess you up. This is a game with very fast decision making and timing when you
13:12can die super fast. Here we go. I think we have the advantage right now, but this is kind of
13:16a good
13:16matchup. I'm able to combo him, but there we go. I saw he's one health. He tried to turn around
13:22and
13:22pot, but bro is not fast enough. Yo, it's this guy again. I think we fought this guy like three
13:27times already, but it's all right. We're just training so we can fight people multiple times.
13:32Pretty sure we beat him every time, but let's see if bro can change it around maybe. In one of
13:36my last
13:36videos, I was like, I fought someone for the third time and they actually beat me the third time,
13:42which like ended the video because I was just playing till I lost and that's how the video ended.

14:18It seems like most of the people with super high ping, like can't really win as much on this,
14:23which is good for me, but it's kind of annoying because like, look, how am I supposed to hit him?

14:37I could have hit that, but since bro teleported, I just missed, bruh. It can be quite annoying when

15:07is hard though. People get really good at it. So it's kind of scary when you fight someone good.

15:37all strafing, which I like. There's like different play styles in this mode. Okay. But we're going to
15:42see if we can try to get him in a combo because he looks pretty good at the combos. I'm

16:58This is one of those game modes though. Like I think it has a higher skill cap curve as in

17:25low tier fours are like, they seem like insane, you know? So how good is a high tier one? My
17:30question. If this guy's a tier four and doing this well, what separates the skill gap? I don't know.
17:36Can they just reach farther? Cause like what? Yeah, they're good because of that. I think I want
17:42to find like a coach to train me in this mode because I'm just curious how you even get that
17:47much better at this. It's like inventory management. So you don't drop and then having good aim, I guess.
17:52And then probably you're positioning for sword skills. I don't know. That's what I'm trying to
17:56figure out here. Hopefully we can learn a little bit just by practicing in this video, explaining
18:00my commentary to y'all in case you're new to it as well. This guy's got the left hand, so
18:03he's
18:03going to have reach on me. It's okay. I also have left hand so I can do that. Okay. Nice.
