00:14this one wrong. Man, the Astros swept the Marlins, then they swept the Angels, and now they're
00:19sweeping the Texas Rangers. They are as hot as anybody. And what I look at here, Tom, and maybe
00:26this is something that we sort of forgot as time went on. The Padres, they get deep into
00:32these games. They got Mora Hone and they got Mason Miller. Boy, Josh Hader is still one of
00:37the best closers in baseball. Josh Hader, every game he's come in, whether it was the Angels
00:42or the Rangers, he is saving games again. He is just like he was with Milwaukee. Their
00:47offense is great. They have the best hitter in baseball. Jeremy Pena is having a fantastic
00:51year. I guess Dana Brown and the GM and Jim Crane can look at the Astros again and say,
00:57hey, look, if we can win this division and get a five-game series in our building with three home
01:05games or a wildcard series, by the way, with three home games, we owe it to the fans to try
01:11to be back
01:11at home to see if we can advance. I get it. For the wildcard, eh, I don't know. But they're
01:16right
01:16in the division, hunt again. And I would be stunned if they didn't make a big deal heading
01:21into Monday. The way I'm looking at this and a lot of teams and their situations is just simply
01:27saying, why not? And like, what if? Like, what if we go on a run? What if we win five
01:32games? You
01:32know, and they're sweeping teams. They're beating Texas, which is their direct competition for the
01:38AL West. You know, the other teams around them are struggling. Even if they fall out of that AL West
01:42spot, they're still going to be a good spot in the AL wildcard because Cleveland's struggling. So
01:46the White Sox are going to take the division. Therefore, the Astros could be into a wildcard.
01:49So they're saying, like, what if? Like, what if this happens? Why not us? And if they can make
01:54one extra move, to your point, which we just talked about, needing another outfielder, this
01:59would actually put them in the spot because Texas is good. And I think you and I would agree that
02:04we
02:04like them the best in that division and their most well-rounded team. But they're also not some
02:08amazing team that's some Goliath that another team needs to take down. And the Astros are maybe just one
02:13or two moves away from being just as good as them. Now, I think the Astros need significant
02:18frontline pitching help. I think their bullpen's great. They can score some runs. Jordan's going to win
02:22AL MVP. But outside of that, if Jordan has a tough series, if the bullpen's just a little bit shaky,
02:28like, where are you going to win series or win games? So that's the question I have. Can you make
02:32one or two moves leading into Monday night that will allow you to fortify some of those weaknesses?
