00:00This is the DJI Pocket 4P and I'm at the palace of Versailles and today I'm going to show you
00:05three of my favorite features about this camera and two that I'm not so sure about and what better venue
00:09than this. So let's get into it.
00:11And at number one it's the new 1 inch LOFIC sensor. It has 17 stops of dynamic range and what
00:16that means is that when you're shooting high contrast architecture or backlit portraits around places like Versailles, it preserves both
00:22bright skies and deep shadows without blowing anything out.
00:25And at number two it's the dedicated 60mm f1.8 medium telephoto lens. To me it means that the Pocket
00:314 can really be my only camera when I'm traveling. It gives you genuine optical background blur and a natural
00:36portrait perspective without relying on any fake computational tricks.
00:40And at number three we know how expensive storage has become so the 103GB of built-in storage has become
00:45a lifesaver. Being able to dump footage at 800MB per second straight off the internal drive is also a massive
00:50win. On the flip side it's not all perfect.
00:52What's the first downside? Well it is actually that true 4K vertical shooting mode because while I can have the
00:58camera turn sideways and shoot that 4K and it works pretty well, I can't active track. That means if I'm
01:03doing exactly what I'm doing right now I can't just put the box around my face and not worry about
01:08where I point the camera.
01:09And then number two it's the battery drain when you're shooting in the highest quality mode. 4K and 10-bit
01:14D-log the battery drops quickly making the optional battery handle an absolute necessity.
01:18So that's it for the Ultimo Pocket 4P and you guys let me know is this the ultimate travel camera?
01:24The ultimate gimbal camera? Does it live up to your expectations? Let me know in the comments. I'm out.
