00:10So let's see what's in store for the next couple of days.
00:13But first, here's what happened today.
00:16Conditions were much cooler than yesterday as periods of rain move across parts of the country.
00:21This was due to an active ITCZ ahead of tropical wave 31,
00:26which began bringing showers to Trinidad and Tobago from mid-afternoon.
00:31Rainfall first affected eastern areas of Trinidad
00:34before gradually spreading westward and northwestward into tonight.
00:39So that means tonight you can look out for partly cloudy to cloudy skies
00:44with scattered light to moderate showers
00:46with minimum temperatures at 25 degrees in Trinidad and 26 in Tobago.
00:51Those showers can become heavy and thundery, so take note of that.
00:55And for those of you looking forward to some cloud cover and rain,
00:59well, look no further.
01:01According to the Met Office, tomorrow will be very cloudy with scattered showers
01:05and a medium chance of a few heavy showers.
01:09Now conditions are expected to gradually become settled during the late afternoon period.
01:14So that's some good news there for those of you who couldn't stand the heat.
01:19Daytime temperatures will reach up to 30 degrees in Trinidad and 29 in Tobago.
01:24Now let's take a sneak peek into our weekend.
01:27Mostly sunny, hazy and breezy skies,
01:30despite brief showers expected on Emancipation Holiday.
01:34And on Sunday, we're back to partly cloudy skies with showers,
01:38with heavier showers likely during the morning.

01:42Sunrise is at 554 and 550 in Tobago.
01:46And sunset at 630 in Trinidad and 627 in Tobago.
01:50And for those of you who have tomorrow off because of the holiday on Saturday,
01:54lucky you, if you're celebrating at the beach,
01:57seas will be moderate with waves,
01:592 meters and 2.5 meters in open waters,
02:02and near 1 meter,
02:04occasionally choppy and sheltered areas.
02:06Now the Met Office is advising all marine interests to exercise caution.
