00:00When you take on the responsibility of representing Australia, when you touch the war with trials, your goal or your
00:08responsibility is to win a medal for your country.
00:11So to be able to do that every single time I put the green and gold on, yeah, is something
00:16that I'm super proud of.
00:17Yeah, I'm completely fine with it. I knew that that day was going to come at some stage and I'd
00:21rather be in the race for that to happen than be retired and seeing them swim faster than maybe what
00:29I, well, hasn't quite got me just yet, but is very close to what my best ever was.
00:34The thing I'm most proud of is being able to have my daughter and wife in the crowd and share
00:38that moment with them and then know that my wife gets the opportunity to compete for her country in a
00:42couple of weeks' time.
00:43I honestly am so happy with that tonight. Like I cannot have any disappointments or complaints.
00:49Yeah, it felt pretty awesome. I was pretty happy to stand up there and it was great to invite Kyle
00:54up and share that moment with him.
00:55I felt like that was a real passing of the guards sort of moment, but yeah, it's hard to find
