00:00Right now, the Iranian regime seems to be still very much overconfident and really firing
00:05up the entire Middle East.
00:07Everybody understands the threat.
00:09And as your previous guest mentioned, there is an informal coalition, regional coalition
00:14under CENTCOM that aligns on this anti-Iranian interest.
00:19But basically, the two scenarios are either there will be a significant escalation and
00:25a strike led by the U.S. that will change the rules of the game.
00:30And perhaps lower down this overconfidence by Iran.
00:34That's one scenario.
00:35I don't think it will be the main scenario.
00:38I actually think that it could be that we are entering a new era, which will actually
00:43take time, perhaps even years, where it will be kind of a new Cold War, if you may, sometimes
00:52escalating a bit, then potentially getting on some channels again, but then also realizing
00:58probably there's nothing coming out of it.
01:00So basically what we've seen over the last few months, but lasting over years.
01:04But in parallel, also this informal coalition becoming more and more formal, alternative
01:10trade and energy routes basically weakening the need or the dependency on the Hormuz.
01:16And then these new alliances then impacting what used to be the former Iranian proxies, which
01:25could potentially change the entire Middle East.
01:27So basically what I'm saying here, that it's not the military force alone that can achieve
01:32what we need to achieve, but it's a combination of economic sanctions, alternative trade and
01:38energy routes, military force and diplomatic pressure that could lead to a new reality that could
01:44take time and as mentioned, perhaps even years.
