00:00Well, first, we've really got to toughen up. Zelensky has made it clear he needs more weapons.
00:05He was assaulted last night by hundreds of drones and missiles, and he does not have the capacity.
00:11And we should be supplying that collectively across the Allies.
00:15And what he needs, we should be providing for him.
00:18And we've spent far too long on getting the necessary equipment to him.
00:23Secondly, we should look again at sanctions.
00:25I've lost count on, is it the 21st or 22nd package of sanctions?
00:30Whatever the number, it means the earlier ones simply aren't biting on Russia and are not restraining Russia's behavior.
00:38So we really do now have to stop paying Russia for oil and gas.
00:42We're paying almost as much for the oil and gas to Russia as we are helping Ukraine.
00:48In a way, Europe is funding both sides of this war, and that has got to stop.
00:53And finally, we've got to persuade the Americans, when the NATO summit happens early next week in Ankara,
01:00we've got to persuade the Americans that it really is in their interest that Putin is not allowed to get
01:06away with this.
01:06Because if he gets away with it in the Ukraine, suppressing and subduing the local population there and winning the
01:14war,
01:14then, of course, it's going to involve the Americans, because he'll then move on and win similar invasions in wherever
01:21it is,
01:22in Georgia, in Moldova, or perhaps the Baltic states.
