00:07A new pedestrian and cycle bridge which crosses both the Calder and Hebel navigation
00:12and the River Calder will be constructed to provide direct connections between Park Road,
00:18Gasworks Lane and Riverside Park. Existing pedestrian routes and the canal towpath
00:24will be upgraded and a new children's play area will be created,
00:27alongside a variety of landscaping works. The scheme was given the green light in November 2024
00:34and aims to create easier and safer connections between Elland Town Centre
00:39and wider areas while supporting access to the new Elland Rail Station.
