As part of his 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. highlighted the administration's accomplishments in the agriculture sector, saying that the government has secured and distributed a total of 400,000 land titles to landless farmers, the primary beneficiaries of the agrarian reform program. 00:00To be able to provide the support of the agrarian reform, we don't have to be able to pay for

00:14So, in four years, 400,000 titles are the sum total of our titles that are given to them,

00:24that are about 500,000 hectares.

00:34Many of the beneficiaries have been waiting for 30-60 years.

00:40Others are not allowed to release their titles.

00:45For a long time, others have received their title.

00:49Now, it is important for them to be able to pay for their taxes.
