Meigetsu-in Temple, located in Kita-Kamakura, is known as the “Hydrangea Temple.” During the hydrangea season around June, many people visit to see the approximately 2,500 hydrangea plants. All the hydrangeas planted at Meigetsu-in are uniformly blue and are known as “Meigetsu-in Blue.”
