00:11to spread across central Spain. The fires are burning in the provinces of Madrid,
00:16Ávila and Toledo, with Toledo added to the National Emergency Response Plan on Saturday.
00:22Evacuation centers have been set up in Madrid to shelter displaced residents. Prime Minister
00:28Pedro Sánchez visited the town of Navaluenga in Ávila where he met with officials leading
00:34the firefighting efforts and praised the firefighters for their work over the past several days.
00:40Meanwhile, many evacuees say they are anxious and uncertain about what they will find when
00:46they are able to return home. On the other hand, local authorities have confirmed that
00:50one person has died in this latest wave of wildfires as emergency crews continue working
00:56to bring the blazes under control.
01:07I don't know. There are no words for this. We don't know if when we get to the town we'll
01:13have
01:13half the house burned down or we'll have it intact or we won't have a house. All the clothes,
01:19all the memories, everything, everything. The only thing I had time to grab was a kit for the dogs.
01:32It was madness with cars going up and down, traffic jams in the village streets with people trying to get
01:38out.
01:39It looked like the apocalypse. You couldn't see anything. Everything was covered in ash.
01:43There are no words, I'm telling you. You could see all the burned animals. You could see the animals.
01:48They are burned. They were, they were created. They were dirty all the time. They were kept burning.
