00:00March, good afternoon. I am Chris Jansing, live from New York, and it's 77 days now until the
00:05election, topping the agenda right now under new management. The Trump campaign trying to refocus
00:11its playbook on Hillary Clinton. Trump's calling for a special prosecutor to investigate the
00:15Clinton Foundation, while Trump's campaign manager signals that affairs from the 90s
00:20may once again be fair game. A brand new report from the Associated Press now dropping within
00:27the last few minutes, and it details how many Clinton Foundation donors met with Hillary
00:32Clinton while she was at the Department of State. Also on the agenda, expanding the map,
00:38opportunities to expand the Democratic map for the Clinton campaign, one previously red state
00:43now looking attainable for Clinton in a brand new poll today. And assessing the damage, President
00:49Obama praising FEMA in his visit to Louisiana while promising enduring support for those
00:54affected by flooding. New NBC Survey Monkey online poll has Hillary Clinton with the general
01:00election. 77 days from now will not be a two-way head-to-head matchup. Libertarian nominee Gary
01:06Johnson and his running mate Bill Weld are in the third ticket, and you're at 13 percent, I think,
01:11in at least one poll. But you need 15 to get on that debate stage. How do you do it?
01:18Well, we cascade around the country. I've spent the last five days at rallies out west. We have
01:22money for a good Senate campaign, not a presidential campaign. Well, it's $30 million a month. You
01:28know, we're going to be out advertising. Then they're proactively necessarily seeking out your
01:33platform. How do you get the message out there? How do you translate that dissatisfaction into
01:39something positive for you? We've got to stop having people... ...to press on Hillary Clinton and
01:43her emails and more than half of the non-government people who she gave time to, having been somehow
01:51donors or affiliated with donors to the Clinton Foundation. Is that fodder for you? Does that
01:57help you? Will you use that? Well, Gary... Very close now to the debates. And 15 percent can be a
02:04pretty
02:04high place to get to. Without that, reasonably, is there any chance at all that you're even in the
02:11conversation? No, no. Not meaningfully. I think if we do get to 50... Johnson seems to have indicated
02:16that he's looking... Look, he's a realist. He's looking at the very least what he'd like to see
02:22come out of this is make the Libertarian Party a real player for the future. No, I think the very
02:26least we'd like to get out of this... Do you believe that Gary Johnson has a realistic chance of being
02:31the next president and you're the next vice president? I do. We're the only party... Thank you, Chris.
02:34Thanks for coming on. And after the break, President Obama touring. Welcome back. Here are some
02:38headlines right now. Donald Trump is in Texas with two scheduled campaign events in Austin.
02:44There, he's expected to focus on border security and to continue his push to build a wall along
02:48the U.S.-Mexico border. Hillary Clinton is in California for a second day of fundraising among
02:53Hollywood A-listers. She just left the home of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. Tomorrow,
02:59she'll be at a fundraiser in the Silicon Valley at the home of Apple CEO Tim Cook. And President Obama
03:05just wrapping up a walking tour through a flood ravaged neighborhood in Baton Rouge, Louisiana,
03:10getting a firsthand look at the devastation left behind. That visit comes amid controversy that
03:15the president remained on his two-week vacation in Martha's Vineyard as Louisiana residents struggled
03:20through damaging floodwaters. And turning now, Florida, Florida, Florida, those voters in Orlando
03:26and the Central Atlantic Coast region so important to victory in the swing state that vote placed
03:31else in the country. In his Up for Grab series, Jacob Soboroff takes us from Tampa to the other
03:36road in Up for Grab states between now and Election Day. And he wants to visit you. So if you
03:41live
03:41in a swing state, let Jacob know using the hashtag Up for Grabs MSNBC. He might just pay you a
03:48visit.
03:48And straight ahead.
