कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी और छात्रों के 36 दिनों के आंदोलन के बाद शनिवार को धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने शिक्षा मंत्री के पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया। इसके बाद मंत्रालय की जिम्मेदारी केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी को दी गई है। उन्होंने रविवार को शिक्षा मंत्री का पद संभाल लिया है। इस मौके पर उन्होंने अधिकारियों के साथ संक्षिप्त बैठक भी की। प्रह्लाद जोशी के पास पहले से मौजूद मंत्रालयों की भी जिम्मेदारी बनी रहेगी। उनके पास फिलहाल नवीन और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा मंत्रालय भी है।
Dharmendra Pradhan resigned as Education Minister on Saturday following a 36-day protest by the 'Cockroach Janata Party' and students.
