06:32A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Romans
06:36Brothers and sisters, we know that all things work for good for those who love God,
06:42who are called according to his purpose.
06:45For those he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son
06:52So that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters
06:58And those he predestined, he also called
07:01And those he called, he also justified
07:04And those he justified, he also glorified
07:09The word of the Lord
07:11Thanks be to God
07:15Alleluia
07:19Alleluia
07:23Alleluia
07:28Alleluia
07:29Alleluia
07:32Alleluia
07:34Alleluia
07:36Alleluia
07:38Alleluia
07:40Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth
07:47For you have revealed to little ones
07:52The mysteries of the kingdom
08:05Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
08:18The Lord be with you
08:19And with your spirit
08:20A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew
08:24Glory to you, O Lord
08:30Jesus said to his disciples
08:32The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field
08:36Which a person finds and hides again
08:39And out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field
08:45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls
08:50When he finds a pearl of great price
08:52He goes and sells all that he has and buys it
08:58Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net thrown into a sea
09:02Which collects fish of every kind
09:05When it is full, they haul it ashore
09:08And sit down to put what is good into baskets
09:12And what is bad they throw away
09:15Thus it will be at the end of the age
09:18The angels will go out and separate the wicked from the righteous
09:22And throw them into the fiery furnace
09:25Where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth
09:29Do you understand all these things?
09:32They answered yes
09:34And he replied
09:36Then every scribe who has been instructed in the kingdom of heaven
09:40Is like the head of a household
09:43Who brings from his storeroom both the new and the old
09:49The gospel of the Lord
09:51Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ
09:55I believe in one God
09:57Father, Lord Christ
09:59Faith for heaven and earth
10:01All things visible and invisible
10:03I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ
10:06The only God and Son of God
10:09The only Father before all ages
10:12God, God, light and light
10:14Through God and true God
10:16God, God did not pay
10:18Concentration with the Father
10:20Through him all things were given
10:22For us men and for our salvation
10:25He came down to heaven
10:27And by the Holy Spirit
10:29Was according to the virgin fairy
10:31And he came to heaven
10:33For our saints who crucified the Pontius Pilate
10:36He suffered and was married
10:39And rose again on the third day
10:41In the Lord of all the scriptures
10:43He ascended into heaven
10:45And to see at the right hand of God
10:48He will come again in glory to trust
10:51The Lord of the dead
10:52In his kingdom will I have no end
10:54I believe in the Holy Spirit
10:57The Lord, the giver of life
10:59Who proceeds from the Father and the Son
11:02Who with the Father and the Son
11:04Is the Lord to glorify
11:05Who has spoken to the prophets
11:07I believe in one holy kingdom
11:11And I have stopped the church
11:12I confess my sins
11:14For the forgiveness of sins
11:16And I look forward to the resurrection
11:18Of the dead
11:19And I have a world to come
11:21Amen
11:23For the leaders of nations
11:25Afflicted by poverty, famine
11:27And injustice
11:29Let us pray to the Lord
11:30Lord, hear our prayer
11:32That every parishioner at Most Holy Trinity
11:35Will help make our parish welcoming
11:37By inviting someone they don't know
11:40To share a meal with them
11:41Let us pray to the Lord
11:43Lord, hear our prayer
11:45That each parishioner will bring one new person
11:49To the OCIA class this coming year
11:51Let us pray to the Lord
11:53Lord, hear our prayer
11:55For our deceased relatives and friends
12:21And all the departed
12:22That they may be gathered
12:24Into the eternal joy
12:25Of their heavenly home
12:28May they rest in the peace of Christ
12:31Let us pray to the Lord
12:32Lord, hear our prayer
12:35For all the prayers
12:36Prayer intentions
12:37And the prayer basket
12:39The prayer chain
12:40And those we hold
12:42In the silence of our hearts
12:44Let us pray to the Lord
12:46Lord, hear our prayer
12:49Almighty God
12:50We thank you for Jesus
12:51He is our pearl of great price
12:54He comes to us
12:55At every Eucharist
12:56May we always recognize him
12:58In his word
12:59And in the breaking of bread
13:00He is Christ our Lord
13:02Amen
13:07Seek ye first
13:10Seek ye first
13:11The kingdom of God
13:13And his righteousness
13:19And all these things
13:22Shall be handed unto you
13:29Alleluia
13:35Alleluia
13:53Halleluia
13:57Pray, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
14:04May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our Lord
14:10and the Lord and the Holy Church.
14:12Accept, O Lord, we pray the offerings which we bring from the abundance of your gifts, that to the powerful
14:20working of your grace,
14:22these most sacred mysteries may sanctify our present way of life and lead us to eternal gladness, through Christ our
14:30Lord.
14:31Amen.
14:31The Lord be with you.
14:33And with your spirit.
14:34Lift up your hearts.
14:35We lift the law to the Lord.
14:36Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
14:38It is right and just.
14:40It is truly right and just.
14:42Our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to give you thanks.
14:46Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and Eternal God, through Christ our Lord.
14:50For at the last supper with his apostles, establishing for the ages to come the saving memorial of the cross,
14:56he offered himself to you as the unblemished lamb, the acceptable gift of perfect praise,
15:02nourishing your faithful by the sacred mystery.
15:04You make them holy so that the human race bounded by one world may be enlightened by one faith and
15:10united in one bond of charity.
15:12And so we approach the table of this wondrous argument, so that, bathed in the sweetness of your grace,
15:18we may pass over to the heavenly realities here foreshadowed.
15:22Therefore, all creatures of heaven and earth sing in you a song in adoration,
15:27and we with all the hosts of angels cry out, and without aim we acclaim.
15:37Amen.
15:38Holy, holy, holy, holy, Lord.
15:41Our holy, holy, holy, holy, holy.
15:45When and, and, and or, oh, o of your holy, Lord, great King.
15:52Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest
16:04Blessed is he who shall be the name of God
16:15Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest
16:26Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest
16:39Tonight, think of Thomas Aquinas, probably the greatest theologian in the history of the Church.
16:44He said, if we study the New Testament, we'll see five desires of Jesus fulfilled
16:49every time we celebrate the Holy Eucharist.
16:51First, Jesus left us the Eucharist so we wouldn't forget him.
16:55He said, do this in memory of me.
16:58And the Bible tells us every time we celebrate the Eucharist,
17:01we proclaim the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus until he comes again.
17:05The second desire of Jesus fulfilled when we celebrate the Eucharist,
17:10he wanted to have a personal, intimate relationship with everyone who would ever believe in him.
17:16And through Holy Communion, he comes inside in each of us.
17:20He can't be more intimate with us than that.
17:22And the Bible says, whoever receives me will have life because of me.
17:29Thirdly, he wanted to win forgiveness for our sins.
17:33He said, this is the blood of the covenant shed for you for the forgiveness of sins.
17:39Fourthly, he wanted to feed us with his very self.
17:42He said, this is my body to be given for you.
17:45My flesh is true food.
17:47My blood is true drink.
17:49And finally, he wanted to give us a guarantee of heaven.
17:52He said, I am the living bread come down from heaven.
17:56Whoever eats this bread will live forever.
17:59So please think of those five desires now as we celebrate these sacred mysteries.
18:06You're indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
18:09Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
18:12by sending down your spirit upon them like the dewfall,
18:15so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
18:20At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion,
18:24he took bread and giving thanks broke it
18:27and gave it to his disciples, saying,
18:30Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
18:32for this is my body, which will be given up for you.
18:45In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice,
18:49and once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
18:53Take this, all of you, drink from it,
18:55for this is the chalice of my blood,
18:57the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
18:59which will be poured out for you and for many
19:03for the forgiveness of sins.
19:05Do this in memory of me.
19:09O God.
19:13The Mystery of Faith
19:15We proclaim your death, O Lord,
19:29and profess your resurrection
19:34until you come again.
19:44We proclaim your death, O Lord,
19:51and profess your resurrection
19:58until you come again.
20:07Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
20:10we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
20:13giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and ministered to you.
20:17Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
20:20we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
20:23Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world
20:26and bring her to the fullness of charity,
20:28together with Leo, our Pope,
20:30Lewis, our Bishop,
20:31and all your people.
20:33Remember also our brothers and sisters
20:35who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection
20:37and all who have died in your mercy.
20:40Welcome them into the light of your face.
20:42Have mercy on us all, we pray,
20:45that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
20:47with Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
20:48with the blessed apostles,
20:50and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
20:53we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life
20:56and may praise and glorify you
20:58through your Son, Jesus Christ.
21:02Through him and with him and in him,
21:04O God, Almighty Father,
21:06in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
21:08all glory and honour is yours forever and ever.
21:18Amen.
21:22Amen.
21:40Look at the crucifix now
21:43Remember Jesus did that for you
21:45He is your pearl of great price
21:48Always treasure him as we pray
21:50Our Father who art in heaven
21:54Hallowed be thy name
21:56Thy kingdom come
21:57Thy will be done
21:59On earth as it is in heaven
22:01Give us this day our daily prayer
22:04And forgive us our trespasses
22:07As we forgive those who trespass against us
22:10And lead us not into temptation
22:13But deliver us from evil
22:15Deliver us Lord we pray from every evil
22:17Graciously grant peace in our days
22:19That by the help of your mercy
22:21We may be always free from sin
22:23And safe from all distress
22:24As we await the blessed hope
22:26And the coming of our saviour Jesus Christ
22:29Lord Jesus Christ who said to your apostles
22:35Peace I leave you my peace I give you
22:37Look not on our sins
22:39But on the faith of your church
22:40And graciously grant her peace and unity
22:43In accordance with your will
22:45Who live and reign forever and ever
22:48Peace of the Lord be with you always
22:51And with your spirit
22:53Now let us share the treasure of peace
22:55With everyone around us
22:56Peace to him
23:01Peace to him
23:21Thank you
23:24Thank you
23:26You take away the sins of the world
23:34Have mercy on us
23:41Lamb of God
23:45You take away the sins of the world
24:12Grant us, grant us, grant us, peace
24:25Behold the Lamb of God
24:27Behold him who takes away the sins of the world
24:29Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb
24:32Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter into my room
24:36But only say the word that my soul shall be healed
24:40May the body and blood of Christ keep us safe for eternal life
24:43Amen
24:44My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament
24:49I love you above all things
24:51And I desire to receive you into my soul
24:54Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally
24:57Commonly spiritually into my heart
25:00I embrace you as if you were already there
25:02And unite myself wholly to you
25:05Never permit me to be separated from you
25:08Amen
25:09Bow your heads and pray
25:13We have consumed, O Lord, this divine sacrament
25:16The perpetual memorial of the passion of your Son
25:19Grant, we pray, that this gift
25:21Which he himself gave us with love beyond all telling
25:24May profit us for salvation
25:26Through Christ our Lord
25:28Amen
25:28The Lord be with you
25:29And with your spirit
25:31And may Almighty God bless you
25:32The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
25:35Amen
25:36Mass has ended
25:37Let us go forth living the love that we have for each other
25:41Thanks be to God
