00:00Well, this isn't the arrest news we thought we'd be hearing going into the NFL season,
00:05but Tony Romo, Cowboys legend, CBS's top NFL voice,
00:09well, he's facing a court date after an arrest in Milwaukee.
00:12So Thursday night, July 23rd, Romo was pulled over on southbound I-43
00:19on the high-rise bridge by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
00:23And according to the arrest report, he was taken into custody
00:27after performing poorly on standardized field sobriety tests.
00:32So he's facing an OWI charge, which is operating while intoxicated,
00:37which is his first offense.
00:39Romo was booked and released, and there's no word just yet on what he was doing in Milwaukee.
00:45His court date is set for Monday, September 21st.
00:49Now that falls under NFL Week 2, so as of now,
00:53we don't know if he'll be in the booth on Sunday the 20th for CBS.
