00:00I think it was very eye-opening after season one hearing, you know, what people had to say about
00:04the pay because obviously we're the ones that are, you know, dealing and living it. Kind of having
00:09the world behind us was very motivating that, you know, this was the time for us to speak up,
00:14but it didn't make it any easier. I mean, it's definitely a tough conversation to have. We
00:18really had to come together as a team and decide if this was something that we wanted to, you know,
00:23seeing a change in. Obviously, as you'll see in season two, it paid off. So I think we're really
00:27proud of, you know, using our voices for good. I just feel like as women, it's unfortunate that
00:32we're still fighting for, you know, equal pay. And I think, you know, we're in the 21st century.
00:36At what point is that not a conversation that has to be had? And so I think the Dallas Cowboys
00:41cheerleaders, we are a big group of women in this, like, industry. And I think we have, like she said,
00:49we have a great platform to speak. And so I feel like it was just something that we needed to,
00:53you know, use our platform for, for all the women in sports, especially in the dance community,
00:58too, because I feel as if sometimes the arts kind of get left behind as far as pay and all
01:05of those things. So just making sure that, I don't know, we set the standard.
