00:15Lived in New York 25 years.

00:18All my life, 74 years.
00:20Seven years, but there was a split.
00:21Since 1984.
00:23Have you been to all the boroughs?
00:25I've lived in all the boroughs briefly.

00:28Not the Bronx.
00:29I think so.
00:31Is Jersey a borough?
00:32That's a stupid question.
00:33No, no.
00:34Because Jersey's a different state.
00:36Brooklyn.
00:36Well, yeah.
00:37What is your favorite thing about this city?
00:39That.
00:39You can find anything to do at any hour.
00:41It's a pedestrian's paradise.
00:43It's humanity blown out.
00:45The diversity.
00:46What about your least favorite thing?
00:48There is no least favorite thing.
00:49I love everything about New York.
00:51The crowded surface.
00:52It's horrible.
00:53Yeah, it smells like piss quite often.
00:56The rats are my least favorite thing.

01:01If you could change one thing about New York, what would it be?
01:04Less people.
01:05I don't know where you're going to go, but yeah.

01:09The homeless situation.

01:18I don't know.
01:19The speed that someone walks.
01:21I think your history, your family.
01:23Courage.
01:23Attitude.
01:24New York accent.
01:26What does a New York state of mind feel like to you?
01:29There's a certain freedom.
01:31Constant stress.
01:32Encomplishing everything that New York is about.
01:34Buildings, places, people.
01:36Excitement.
01:37You are okay with seeing just about anything?
01:40The parks, the trees, the pigeons, the occasional mice.

02:19As it turns out, New Yorkers are incredibly busy.
02:22It was hard to get some of them to stop to even talk to us today.

02:31And as for the rats, some people hate them, but other New Yorkers seem to welcome them
