00:00So obviously this works best with lighter colored jeans because the lighter the color the more the wrinkles show up.
00:05Oh wait, no, no, no, the opposite.
00:13Unless you're as tall as Karlie Kloss and with legs just as skinny, you probably can't wear jeans right off
00:18of the rack.
00:18But I have a really quick way to shorten your jeans without having to take them to the tailor.
00:22The lighter colored your jeans are, the more obvious the folds are going to be, so stick with darker denim
00:26in this case.
00:27So this is what most people do. They'll take all that extra fabric and tuck it inside of the jean,
00:33like so.
00:34So what you end up with is this sort of lumpy, bumpy, slightly baggy hem, and there's no stitching on
00:40the bottom so it kind of looks weird.
00:42The right way to do it involves taking advantage of where your jeans naturally bunch, which is around your knees.
00:47Grab hold of the fabric right below your knees and pull up until you get to the right way.
00:51Bolt over and then create some natural wrinkles like that.
00:57Do your other leg.
00:59You might have to readjust it a couple times during the day, but it's not going to be anything like
01:03if you did it the old school way.
01:05So there you have it, an easy way to hem your pants without going to the tailor.
01:08Talk to us later.
01:08Bye.
