00:05Hi guys, I'm Chloe with Refinery29 and today we'll be making this futuristic kind of matrixy necklace.
00:12I was inspired by this Bay Area designer, Kayla Niles, who wore one in a photo shoot we did.
00:18And we're going to make it today.
00:19You'll need some clear tubing. I found mine at Home Depot.
00:23Some copper pieces, scissors, and your glue gun.
00:27First, you want to take your tubing and I'm going to measure it around my neck.
00:32We're going to do it pretty tight. I'm going to snip it.
00:35Then I'm going to cut four of these.
00:39Next, I'm going to take my copper piece and loop it through to the center.
00:44And then go ahead and trim any of the ends if they're a little extra long.
00:48Take your glue gun and you're going to just put the glue inside the copper pipe.
00:54And then I'll go ahead and do it to the other side as well.
00:56Try not to get it onto the outside of the tubing.
00:59Then I'm going to take my second copper piece and put some glue all around the edge about halfway down.
01:06Then you'll want to quickly put the end in about halfway and then hold and secure it.
01:11Once the glue's dried, all you have to do is just stick the ends into the other side of the
01:16copper pipe.
01:19And it'll stay nice and secure.
01:21And there you have it.
01:22So easy, so affordable.
01:24And now you have kind of a cool, futuristic piece for your wardrobe.
