00:12I'm Tom Brown. We're getting ready for New York Fashion Week. For me, this is the reason why I do
00:17what I do. I love putting the shows together. I guess it's the actor inside of me loving to entertain,
00:22seeing people smile and just being entertained by what I do.
00:36I can give you a very vague idea on what the theme of the collection is, but I don't want
00:42to give away too much. It's based loosely on a circus probably like you've never seen. I think one of
00:47the most provocative collections that I've ever done.
00:55The collection is really conceived in one way, and then the idea of the show, sometimes it just pulls the
01:02collection together. And that's why the entertainment value of the show is so important. I don't get nervous. I mean,
01:08I get excited.
01:16Of course, we're going up to Exit Art, which is the space that actually we've been showing in for the
01:21past four collections, I think. And for me, it's nice because it's so comfortable and it's a perfect space for
01:27how I like to present my shows.
01:28Well, actually, this is probably going to be the most challenging one, so it's good to have a challenge.
01:35It's going to be very interesting on how we choreograph the actual show because there's some things in the show
01:44that will take some very multi-talented models.
02:07And this is the team, actually, that we've worked with for the past four seasons. Good to see you. John,
02:13it's good to see you.
02:14John, it's good to see you. Good to see you. How are you? Good to see you. This is an
02:17easy one.
02:18Yeah. He's like, yeah, right.
02:21All of these, like, type of curtains, I would love them to be green-white stripe if possible.
02:26How wide of stripes would you want?
02:28I feel like I approach my shows as true entertainment.
02:32I think equally as important as the clothing is in giving everyone that comes to your show an experience that
02:39they remember.
02:40If you watch the video of the show, you're going to see people's heads go like this.
02:44You know, kind of like The Wizard of Oz, how it, you know, boom, and then you see it, and
02:49then boom, they're gone.
02:50So the opening will be right here.
02:52Yep, right here. Right here.
02:53Right here.
02:54For me, it actually, it's so nice to be able to close the door on that collection by doing this.
02:59Making sure that people are entertained and provoked, and they're not just seeing a collection of clothing.
03:03They're seeing a whole world that has been in my head for six months.
03:07A lovely way with words must be the way you see the world.
03:10It's just the way you see the world.
03:18We walk around home, pretending.
