00:00We're here backstage at Tracy Reese and you're about to meet the amazing designer herself who's
00:13going to tell us all about her inspiration for Spring. Color was a big part of it. I was inspired
00:18by the Pierre Bernard exhibit at the Met. The next thing was how do we kind of blend and merge this
00:23current edgy feeling with femininity. You know we need to feel powerful we need to get out there and
00:29get the job done but we need to be ourselves. I love Tracy Reese. I think that she is absolutely a wonderful
00:36beautiful designer. I love because her things are so feminine and I love that about her. Now a Tracy
00:43Reese collection is always sexy. Tell me what the sexy elements are this season. Well I guess sexy
00:49comes from bodycon. It comes from the draping. I think a lot of the draping is very sensual. It comes
00:54from a lot of the fabrics the way they flow and move. Hopefully there's an allure there you know
00:59that's within the clothing whether it's something casual or something that's all out. The things
01:03that are close we wanted to make them comfortable so we used a lot of stretch we used a lot of jersey.
01:08We pumped up the sportswear this season because I think women are just into their pants you know
01:13we're wearing pants or wearing shorts or in jumpsuits so there's just so much more you know
01:18that I can offer as a designer so we wanted to explore that a bit more and kind of fill out
01:23the collection so we're always going to be known for our dresses. It's something that's close to my
01:27heart and I love to do but I'm excited about you know some of the new additions. Yay we're going to
