Richard Hutton captured the amusing encounter in Pennsylvania,USA. The video shows the curious bear standing on its hind legs as it investigates the tabletop, seemingly eyeing up the sweet treats.
Before the bear can help itself, a woman inside the house taps on the glass door and calls out: "Hey buddy... you're a cutie, but that's not your honey."
Startled by the interruption, the bear pauses, looks toward the house, and reluctantly abandons its snack mission.
The entertaining footage was shared online and it captures a cheeky wildlife encounter.
