Watch this clip where a quick-thinking driver warns a man sitting outside his home after spotting a black bear walking through the stre just yards away.

Kaylee Griffin, from Connecticut, USA, was driving through a residential area when she noticed a black bear moving along the edge of gardens beside the road. As she followed the bear from her car, she spotted a man sitting outside his home who appeared unaware of the nearby animal. She immediately called out to warn him to go inside, prompting him to head indoors as the bear continued toward his home before leaving toward a wooded area.

The footage captures the tense moment as the bear calmly walks through the trees while the woman's timely warning potentially helps the man avoid a dangerous encounter.

One user commented: “My husband and I were in the woods and accidentally stumbled upon an old apple orchard and realized we were standing in a black bear’s bed. Then we took off up a hill and sure enough there she was with her baby. They came right up to us and she stood on her hind legs and roared, then turned the other way and ran off with her baby. It was intense.”
