Did someone say pesto on a pancake? I’m in. In this video, we tried out the viral fluffy Japanese pancakes from Panfuwa in Milano, Italy. These viral pancakes come in many forms, from light and sweet dessert flavors to savory pesto and cherry tomatoes right on top of the fluffy stack. And sometimes the line can be up to an hour long! Do you think it’s worth the wait?

00:00Would you wait more than an hour for these viral pancakes?
00:03I visited Panfua, home of the viral Japanese pancakes.
00:06You can pass time by watching them whip, flip, and decorate these pancakes through the window,
00:10since the wait can nearly be an hour at times.
00:13They offer sweet options like tiramisu or Nutella, or savory like salmon or bruschetta.
00:18We wanted to try both sweet and savory, so we ordered some of their most popular options.
00:22The classic with butter and syrup, simple perfection.
00:25The blueberry cheesecake, light, fluffy, with just the right amount of sweet.
00:28And the savory strachiatella.
00:30Who would have thought Italian cheese, pesto, and cherry tomatoes would work so well on a pancake?
00:36This savory option was easily my favorite bite of the day.
00:38They even had milkshakes if you really wanted to commit.
00:41Do you think it's worth the wait?
