00:28while picking up a passenger outside a hotel in Kuala Lumpur on May 28, 2024.
00:35Ong claims that after lodging a police report and seeking treatment,
00:39he was later pressured by officers to withdraw the report and delete video footage of the incident,
00:44allegedly being told his phone would only be returned if he complied.
00:48The plaintiff is seeking damages for assault and negligence,
00:52along with a court declaration that police breached their duties under the Police Act and the Persons with Disabilities Act,
00:58including a call for sign language interpreters to be made available at police stations nationwide within 60 days.
