01:22The only guy who is saying this is Michael Penix Jr. being able to be 100% and compete.
01:27And I'm just telling some of the Falcon fans, we don't know.
01:30We're hoping for the best.
01:31But, I mean, you talk to orthopedists, doctors, we've talked to them.
01:34They said, realistically, they thought it was the end of August Labor Day for him to be 100%.
01:39And by the way, I'm fine with that.
01:41But again, maybe he'll exceed expectations and be ahead of schedule as he has pronounced.
01:45How the Falcons have said they feel pretty good about where he's at.

01:48Because, to your point, the other side of that is, if he puts it out there, and he's not,

03:20When they built that new tower, they had the TV right across the toilet in the bathroom.

04:24So, I thought it was just cool of him and being around other NFL players.
04:27All these guys that talk about it, Mike, they all act big and tough.

04:33We've always felt.
04:34I mean, there was a story that came out about Claude Lemieux who took his own life.
04:37The legendary hockey player.
04:38Apparently, he had a sex addiction.
04:40It was a lot of stuff that was going on in his life.
04:42But, you know, getting back to your initial point, we think these guys are all 10 feet tall and bulletproof.
04:46But, you know, they're human beings.
04:47And now, you know, especially with the younger generations and everything else that they're bombarded with, it's a different vibe.

04:54When that first concept came out 15 years ago, I'm like, bully?
04:57I'm like, what the hell are you talking about?

05:00Guys, we have pro athletes that get bullied on this stuff, man.

05:13And, by the way, the reason why I know that is because he texted me and said, I'm not going
05:17to do any more of these Falcon countdowns for you guys.
05:20And I said, well, why?
05:22I think they're really good.
05:23And he said, I'm not going to do this anymore if this continues.
05:26And that's what brought it out.
05:28Now, so, point is, back to Kyle Pitts.
05:32Pitts, big shout out, man.
05:34And, by the way, Mike, the more I see Kyle and his maturity, the more I'm thinking he's going to
05:40have a big year, man.
05:42The more I think he might be taking this next step we've all been waiting for.
05:46For three years, I've been saying he's the key to the offense.
05:48Three years.
05:49And it just hasn't planned out the way that I thought.
05:53Mike talked about the season he had last year, which is great.
05:55But, Mike, I'm talking about that next step.
05:58We're like, now we're talking about Kyle Pitts being in that top three or four of tight ends where you
06:03start talking about who's the best in the league.
06:05He's not in that conversation.
06:06Well, again, the only thing I want out of Kyle Pitts is, you know, and it's a number.
06:10It can be more or less, but ten touchdowns.
06:12Nine, ten's a nice round number.
06:14The red zone weapon.
06:15That's what I think when we saw him coming out of Florida.
06:18And, again, it was all based on upside.
06:20You know, the freakish unicorn nature of the guy.
06:22And we've already covered it.
06:23They believe in him.
06:24The Falcons, all the things you and I have dissected seven ways this Sunday about Kyle Pitts.
06:28Work ethic.
06:29Bad quarterbacks that he had to deal with.
06:31You know, why doesn't he get separation?
06:33Use his physicality.
06:34His athleticism.
06:35I think all that happens now, all the things he should be doing in a Stefanski offense consistently.
06:40But, again, he's only as good as the quarterbacks.
06:42And, once again, he starts his season with a major question mark at the quarterback position.
06:47It's true.
06:49And when both are on, by the way, because we've talked about this.
06:51Like I said to you guys, Michael Penix had a great camp last year.
06:54When both of these guys are on, when two is at his best, they can deliver the football.
06:58But you could argue that Kirk Cousins had better chemistry with Pitts than Penix ever did.
07:03But, remember, Cousins didn't hit him early in that first year either.
07:08And we were questioning why Pitts was not a part of the offense.
07:11And we heard, I don't start rumors, I just talk about them once they're out.
07:15Well, he's not in the right place.
07:16He's not running the right routes.
07:18Maybe he should be, and Kurt expects him to be certain places, and he wasn't.
07:21Mike, do you remember those conversations?
07:23Right on.
07:23So, yeah, I do think at the end, he did have a better relationship and certainly was looking for him.
07:28But even early on when Kurt got here, we guys can go back first four or five games of the
07:33first year Kurt Cousins was here.
07:34We were like, where's Kyle Pitts at?
07:37We're going to see, hopefully, this offense.

07:42When you don't know who your quarterback is, that's why Vegas has us where they have us as far as
07:45our odds are over under.

08:13Aaron Rodgers, apparently he's made nice with his family, which, again, doesn't mean anything about the football field, but he's

08:19They looked like crap in their last game of the season.
08:21The Texans, they should have won that game by 49 points.
08:23It's just CJ Stroud kept turning the ball right over to Pittsburgh in that one.
