00:00how to scan a QR code that's on your iPhone screen.
00:02And I'll be showing you two different ways
00:03to do this for free.
00:04So the first way to do this is going to be
00:06to take a screenshot of the QR code
00:09when it's on your iPhone screen.
00:11So make sure it's on the screen like this
00:12and then we can easily take a screenshot
00:14by pressing the power button
00:15and the volume up button at the same time.
00:18Once you do that, you'll see the screenshot down here.
00:20Just select the screenshot.
00:22And then in here, select this little box
00:24with some lines in it and then select the QR code.
00:28From there, we can open up the QR code or we can copy it.
00:31So if I open that up,
00:32it'll bring me to the website that the QR code has.
00:35It would also allow me to copy any text in that QR code.
00:39Now, if for some reason, when you took the screenshot,
00:41it didn't give you the option to actually click the QR code,
00:44we can use a QR code decoder.
00:46So we need to first take a screenshot of the QR code.
00:49And then once you open up the screenshot,
00:51select done and save to photos.
00:54Once you have it saved on it as a photo on your phone,
00:56we can use a QR code decoder like qrcodegadget.com.
00:59And full disclosure, this is a website I made
01:01so that I can recommend a tool that I knew is safe
01:04and doesn't require you to upload your photos
01:06or QR codes to any servers.
01:08All of the decoders and scanners work directly on your phone.
01:11So check the description. I have a link down there.
01:13Once you get to qrcodegadget.com, select QR code decoder.
01:17Then you can either paste it if you have it in your clipboard,
01:19or you can select choose image.
01:21And I'm gonna do photo library.
01:23And then here's the QR code right here.
01:25And I'll select done.
01:26So once I do that, it'll tell me
01:27that it was successfully decoded.
01:29And now if I go down, I can see the contents
01:31and I can even copy it to my clipboard.
01:33And then I could open up a new tab
01:35or just paste it anywhere that I want.
