00:00And maybe it's my bias that I've screamed about this for years, whether it's the Mets
00:05or the Yankees, but your best hitters need to bat first or second.
00:11You cannot put garbage hitters as your leadoff hitter because someone told you a story about
00:18the way baseball worked in 1993.
00:21In 2026 and beyond, your best hitter or best hitters need to be batting first or second.
00:28When I saw the lineup yesterday, and I saw that Aaron Boone had the balls and the stupidity
00:35to lead off Trent Grisham, who none of us wanted to see in the lineup, let alone lead off,
00:42you knew where this was going.
00:45It was stupid when he let him off this season.
00:47It was stupid when he put him in the lineup card last night.
00:51And you know what, Aaron?
00:52You reap what you sow.
00:54Because Trent Grisham didn't just go 0 for 5.
00:57He was the one left standing in the ninth inning with your season on the line as the winning
01:04run at the plate.
01:05You deserve it.
01:06I like Aaron Boone.
01:08I respect Aaron Boone.
01:09That is a fireable offense.
01:12That is Grady Little on steroids.
01:15It is unacceptable.
01:17I'm not the smartest guy in the world.
01:19I'm just a fan.
01:20I know better.
01:22I'm not the smartest guy in the world.
01:22I'm not the smartest guy in the world.
