00:00I'm very delighted to make two fairly significant football department announcements.

00:04Our first football department appointments and the recruiting news manager space,

00:08which is an area of immediate importance for us and opportunity.

00:13So we've got Derek Hyne here who will be our head of recruiting.

00:20A storied contribution to our game and most notably Collingwood Football Club,

00:24well over 20 years.

00:25He's instrumental in building premiership lists, finals, contending teams

00:31and a wealth of knowledge and experience and he'll be such a valuable addition to our team.

00:37And Todd Patterson, a native Tasmanian.

00:39Having spoken to Brendan and Alistair on several occasions,

00:45no, it was an easy decision.

00:49I spoke to a lot of confidants who I've dealt with over the years

00:54and everyone was universal in their opinion of what the opportunity presents.

01:05and to see that come to fruition is just, you know, it's very exciting.
