00:00Men as a whole. Probably need to work on that a bit.
00:02What is one thing that you would like men to understand more about women?
00:06That we're not just emotional creatures.
00:08There's a lot more to us.
00:09That we're just not as helpless as some might think.
00:11We'll ask for help if we need it,
00:13but they don't need to just be like interjecting whenever we're doing something.
00:17Women's health, especially women over the age of 35 into their 40s
00:22to understand perimenopause and that we're not crazy.
00:26I want men to know more about women's cycles.
00:29Men wake up with the same amount of testosterone every morning,
00:32whereas women are on a 28-day cycle.
00:35Women's moods go up and down based on where the egg's at.
00:38So, you know, in ovulation, often women will feel more sensitive
00:42and during a period they'll actually feel more relaxed.
00:45I think men should know more about that.
00:47Invisible barriers.
00:48Say in an emergency, the default is to look to a tall man
00:53and it's just like this sort of invisible privilege, I guess,
00:56that men don't really realise they're carrying.
00:59Day-to-day.
01:00Emotional intelligence is everything.
01:01Do you have any advice?
01:03Speak to girls.
01:04Keep an open mind.
01:05Don't assume you know everything.
01:06Read books.
01:07Look at Mad of May publication.
01:08Guys need to understand girl maths a lot better.
01:11So I just bought concert tickets for a lot of money.
01:14But it's in June, so when June comes around,
01:17it would feel like it's free because I didn't actually pay for it.
01:20So when I get there and I buy merch,
01:21I'll be like, well, technically I only spent like $50.
