00:24Nearly one in three Aussies aged between 18 and 34 now call Guinness their go-to pint.
00:31And a staggering one million women have picked up a pint of Guinness in the last 12 months.
00:36So why is this happening? It's a mix of a slightly lower 4.2% ABV,
00:42but I reckon the real cause of this is the split the G-gap, which has turned every single pint

00:48Guinness into a viral moment. Despite the lower ABV, you are still paying a little bit of a premium
00:53to drink a Guinness at your local. The average price of a pint is around 15 bucks,
00:58but we've even heard of some pubs in Sydney that are charging 18.
01:00The bottom line is that Guinness has successfully transferred its old man image away,
01:05and it's grabbing the attention of a new audience that would otherwise be drinking
01:09lagers and pale ales. It's creamy, it's iconic, and it's what Australians want.
