A video released by Russian Helicopters shows how Mi-171A3 pilots are trained to deal with adverse weather conditions, flights to offshore platforms and unexpected situations during operations.
The training is conducted in a modern flight simulator installed at the training center of the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant in Russia. The equipment reproduces the helicopter’s cockpit and allows crews to practice procedures that would be more complex or risky in a real aircraft.
