Heavenly Father,

As this afternoon unfolds, I quiet my heart before You.

Today my greatest desire is not wealth, success, or recognition.

My greatest desire is You.

Give me Jesus.

Give me Jesus.

He is all I need.

Lord, I don’t want anything that pulls my heart away from You.

I don’t need anything that replaces Your presence.

Fill my heart with a deeper hunger for Christ.

Teach me to love You above everything else.

When I am weak, let Jesus be my strength.

When I am afraid, let Jesus be my peace.

When I feel lonely, remind me that Jesus is always with me.

When I don’t know what tomorrow holds, help me trust the One who holds tomorrow.

May my heart never chase temporary things more than Your eternal presence.

Let my life reflect the love, humility, grace, and compassion of Jesus.

Guide my steps this afternoon.

Protect my family.

Bless the work of my hands.

Fill my home with Your peace and let Your presence remain with me wherever I go.

Father, if I have You, I have everything I truly need.

Give me Jesus.

He is enough.
