00:04with focus on infrastructure and development initiatives.
00:07Prime Minister Modi flagged off India's first hydrogen-powered train in Haryana
00:11and he's also unveiled rail and infrastructure projects in Jind at the same time.
00:16Union Railways Minister Ashpeni Vaishnav, Haryana Chief Minister Nayyab Singh Saini
00:20were all present on the occasion, with Prime Minister Modi
00:22also laying the foundation stone of Sikh Museum in Kurukshetra.
00:27He will also be launching projects worth 6,600 crore rupees in Chandigarh in Polbang, Punjab.
00:33Prime Minister will be inaugurating the Jalandhar Kant railway station,
00:37unveil key rail and infrastructure projects
00:40and as well as lay the foundation stone for the Ludhiana Southern Bypass.
00:45Remember, Prime Minister's visit is politically significant at this time
00:49as it comes at a crucial juncture for the BJP,
00:51which has announced that it will contest the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections on its own.
00:57Prime Minister Modi's Punjab visit is also seen as an opportunity for the BJP
01:01to change the political narrative after the controversy
01:04over the removal of Duljeet Dasanj's film Satlaj from Z5
01:09put the party in a tough spot.
01:35Prime Minister Nayyab Singh
01:45lab?
01:47Prime Minister Modi's Tamil Nadal
01:48The clear warning, is that
01:48the US will be the top-notch for the the 1st project,
01:54the US will be the 21st project sulfer.
01:57We will talk about the US of 30 crore rupees,
02:01the US will be the top-notch for the other part.
02:06The US enjoy the global network as well,
02:09the US for its future.
02:20On that note, viewers, this visit indeed comes out to be very crucial.
02:24One, we have pointed out that it comes amid several controversies that have been key to the poll-bound state
02:31of Punjab.
02:31And the other, of course, being the fact that the state will be headed towards election.
02:35So, developmental projects, a series of them that have been, in fact, launched already, initiated already, and will be initiated
02:43from Punjab next.
02:44The ones in Haryana have already been launched so far.
02:47But, while we speak of Haryana, let's also take you through one of the most crucial projects out of the
02:52lot that has, in fact, been given a green signal.
02:55Not just a green signal, but inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
02:58That's India's first hydrogen train.
03:00Why does it matter, and where or will it be facilitating journeys between?
03:04To run between Jind and Sonipath in Haryana, this is the route that the train will be following.
03:10It has been developed using indigenous technology, basically flagging how India has been more and more focused on the Make
03:19in India policy.
03:20That we are shifting focus on building within our country itself.
03:24Of course, zero carbon emissions and water vapor being the only by-product of this very train makes it extremely
03:31eco-friendly.
03:32And the world's longest hydrogen-powered train with as many as 10 coaches, and the world's most powerful hydrogen train
03:40with 3,200 HP.
03:43That is one of the biggest features of this very train.
03:46Runs on electricity generated by hydrogen fuel cells, and there is no overhead electrification that's required in the very train.
03:55So all of this, basically what it does is reduces carbon print at this point, and also helps finding and
04:02supporting sustainable solutions to be the way forward for the country.
04:07And that is basically the green hydrogen boosting clean rail mobility in this very sector.
04:13So yes, it comes in to be very important for not just Haryana, but also sets an example for the
04:19country and the rest of the world in terms of how India has been following through and pushing through,
04:25not just Make in India policy, but also finding sustainable solutions at this day and age.
04:30That's something that's been very key to Prime Minister Modi's governance.
04:34That's something he's pushed forward even when he's spoken at and across global platforms.
04:40And at this point of time, bringing that in Haryana only helps him walk the talk further at this point
04:46of time for India to lead that very space at this point of time.
04:49On that note, also, if we look at what is to come next, that is his next stops, of course,
04:55one would be Chandigarh and the other would be Punjab.
04:58Punjab would be a very key location at this given point, given that he will be visiting Jalandhar.
05:03Jalandhar remains to be a very key seat for the state of Punjab in itself.
05:10It's because of the community that connect that BJP has to be establishing there.
05:15That is the SC community.
05:16That representation and also the fact that the grassroots level connection needs to be established for the party in Punjab,
05:25given that they're fighting elections all on their own this time.
05:28And this will be a very crucial meeting, of course, hearing from the Prime Minister, if he does address the
05:34entire matter with regards to the Sutlej controversy that's been underway.
05:37Because there's been a lot of discussion and debate over creative freedom, over the sentiment of Sikhs out there, what
05:47had happened back in that time.
05:49There's been claims of distorting history as well for fiction's sake.
05:52So there's been a lot of conversation around all of this and it's also opened a wider conversation about OTT
05:58platforms and how content needs to be censored there as well.
06:03Because now the CBFC has also come out to say that they might consider certifying and censoring content that goes
06:09out on OTT as well.
06:11And Sutlej is not the first time for Sutlej that it's been taken off a platform.
06:14Earlier it had a different title, the movie had a different title, even back then it had faced several controversies
06:20and even now it has.
06:21It was released and then within a matter of mere 48 hours it was taken off the platform again.
06:27Post that, there's been a lot of political debate on the entire matter as well, not just debating over whether
06:33it can be legally moved away from the OTT platform or not,
06:37but even about the history behind Jasmin Singh Kalra, that's another point that's been picked up.
06:44So yes, it also has to do with the sentiments of people in Punjab.
06:48So whether the Prime Minister chooses to indeed speak upon that or not and what he would say is something
06:53we are keeping a very close eye on.
06:55So yes, this would be a reset plan perhaps for the BJP if indeed.
07:00And at this given point, we'll keep a very close watch on that address of his, but at the same
07:05time, if we look at the major Vikas push,
07:10the mega developmental boost that the Prime Minister brings with him during this visit of his,
07:15the fact that there are several of these rail projects that will be inaugurated by him,
07:19there's a totality of almost 5,400 crore worth projects that will also be pushed forward in Punjab.
07:26All of this would also come into highlight at a time when we see the state is headed toward election.
