The British couple imprisoned in Iran have been told that one of them has had their 10 year sentences extended by two years after speaking to the media.

Transcript
00:00Craig and Lindsay Foreman were originally detained in Iran.
00:04They were originally detained on charges of espionage back in January 2025.
00:09We can see some clips of them here now on a motorbike holiday.
00:14They were going through the country.
00:16I believe they were trying to get to another country.
00:18Then we get to February 2026, where they were sentenced to 10 years in prison in Iran.
00:27And today we've begun to hear that Craig Foreman has been told that his sentence is being extended.
00:35And the reason behind that, he says, is because he talked to the media from his cell in his prison
00:40in Tehran.
00:41And can you tell us more about the situation and what's happening with Craig and Lindsay?
00:46Yeah, sure thing.
00:47So we've been getting news through Craig and through Lindsay's son, Joe,
00:55through various letters and what they've told us about their situation, essentially.
01:01In fact, a US-based human rights group told us that Craig had lost a lot of weight
01:06and the conditions in there just weren't particularly good.
01:08And we've now had this news about the extension of Craig's sentence.
01:12Yeah, thank you so much, Finn.
