High data traffic, cable theft, and wildlife disruptions are among the core reasons mobile users experience zero internet access despite showing full signal bars, the Dewan Rakyat was told on Wednesday (July 15).
Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching explained that Quality of Service (QoS) is frequently impacted by network capacity congestion, transmission link failures, fibre optic cuts, natural disasters, and vandalism. Users' individual device settings, hardware conditions, and data quotas also affect performance.
