Synopsis: Malcolm Smith, a young movie buff madly in love with the voluptuous Swedish actress Anita Ekberg, and Steve Wiley, a roguish con artist embroiled in gangster troubles, win a brand-new red car in a raffle. The former needs it to head off to Hollywood and try to meet his idol, Anita, while the latter (who had forged the tickets) wants to sell it to pay off his substantial gambling debts. In the end, they decide to go to the world capital of cinema, but with different goals in mind.
