00:00If you're the Mets GM now, what should they do? What can they do? Can they play for next year?
00:05They look like they're in such a big hole. I'm questioning whether they can play for next year
00:09or they should look at maybe the following year. Yeah. So I don't think that the Mets are in a
00:15rebuild. They'll be in a retool. And, you know, I think that if it were me, I would be selling.
00:22Peralta'd be dealt. Likely, you know, the Luke Weaver, because there could be so many buyers,
00:29Luke Weaver, even though he's got a year for next year, could actually have even more value
00:33because he's got some controllability. I personally would talk about Devin Williams in a trade. If
00:39somebody had interest, I'd move them. I'd be open to just about everything. If somebody asked me
00:44about Lindor, I'd listen on Lindor too. And just to see what's out there. And usually a Lindor type
00:52trade's more of an off-season deal than it would be a trade deadline deal. But, you know, who knows?
00:57You know, we start talking about a lot of money changing hands and that sort of thing too.
01:01So, but I would, with the Mets, I'm, you know, Clay Holmes, if he gets healthy by then,
01:06gone. I'll trade them all. I'd look to buy right now too, if I'm David Stearns. I'm not, I mean,
01:13I can't wait for the perfect timing. I might have to get out in front and get a guy a
01:18year early
01:18instead of waiting until the off-season. And so I think he's got to be open to selling for sure,
01:23but also targeting some, some buying if it's available to him.
