00:00There's nothing conventional about the way that the US president is conducting his negotiations
00:06with Iran. There's nothing conventional about the way that Iran is reacting. And we just have to go
00:15with the flow and hope for the best and continue with the mediation efforts. So yes, there are
00:21negotiations going on under fire. This is not unprecedented. And I think this is intentional.
00:27It's part of his modus operandi. He's aiming to put pressure on Iran while attacking Iran.
00:35Meanwhile, Iran is retaliating against Qatar, against Bahrain and against Kuwait. And you don't
00:42know who, Jordan. And Iran, as we know, and as we have seen, could retaliate against any country.
00:49They have also said they may retaliate against Israel. So we're really in a difficult spot at
00:55the moment. And I raise my hat to the Qataris who are in Tehran. And they never give up. They
01:02work
01:02painstakingly with all attempts to try to move the needle just to get over the crisis. What is really,
01:12really missing here is a conflict resolution, dispute resolution mechanism that will help
01:18to implement the ceasefire? We can go into that in more details. But nothing conventional here.
01:26Negotiations must continue. I know the president has written on his truth social that the MOU,
01:31that the Memorandum of Understanding is over. I beg to disagree, not for the first time with the US
01:36president. It's definitely not over. But it is as predictable hitting many, many stumbling blocks,
01:46given the ambiguity in the drafting.
