00:00I've been stunned to hear this awful news.
00:03To be honest, I've really struggled to find the words to say.
00:07Anne Widdicombe was a very fun and feisty woman who spoke her mind.
00:11And she was 78 years old.
00:14She was an elderly woman.
00:15I don't understand how someone could do something so horrific to an elderly person.
00:20It is a nasty, horrific attack.
00:23And my heart is breaking for her family.
00:25It's one thing when someone dies, but to know that they've been murdered in this horrible way is just awful.
00:32The Conservative Party is reeling.
00:35Anne was a longstanding member of the Conservative Party.
00:37She was a Conservative minister.
00:39And then she moved to reform, of course.
00:41As we know, I'm sure that they are just as stunned as we are.
00:45And I extend my condolences to Nigel Farage and everyone in reform on behalf of the Conservative Party.
00:52Because we've both lost a friend.
