Ash covers uptown Canlaon City after Kanlaon eruption

Drone footage shows Barangay Mabigo in Canlaon City blanketed in volcanic ash following the moderate eruption of Mt. Kanlaon Thursday morning.

The video shows homes, roads, vegetation, and surrounding areas covered in gray ash.

Authorities urged the public to wear face masks and take necessary precautions to avoid exposure to volcanic ash.
