DOH Secretary Ted Herbosa said there is no cause for alarm over mpox, noting that the disease is already present in the country and that contact tracing remains a standard procedure of its Epidemiology Bureau.

The statement comes after the Mandaluyong City Health Department confirmed an mpox case involving a resident of a condominium in the city.
