00:14My position from the start remains to now, and that position has been, whilst I would
00:21have leveraged some concerns about the operations of the CARICOM, I have always said Trinidad
00:27Tobago remains committed to the CARICOM.
00:33So I have not changed in that position, however, some matters discussed in the recent days,
00:42I think we've been able, through the chairmanship of Prime Minister Peer, and of course with the
00:46cooperation of the other heads, that we've been able to iron out some of the concerns
00:50I had.
01:09So my position has not changed, I remain committed to the CARICOM.
01:13We will have issues from day to day, from time to time, in a family you have issues,
01:18you have issues of concern, and I am, my position is that we must raise them.
01:24We must not put our heads down in the sand like ostriches, we raise them when they are, and
01:29try to find resolutions.
01:30So we've been able, in this 51st CARICOM meeting, to iron out some of those differences, and
01:38I think we are better as we go forward.
01:54We've worked in the region for selling supplies, relief supplies, relief personnel to Venezuela.
02:01And indeed, tonight, when I go home, we'll be sending off an entire ferry, the Gardens Passage,
02:06going off to Venezuela, loaded with supplies for the people of Venezuela.
02:11I know Guyana has done the same, Barbados has done the same, and many of the nations have been really
02:17stepping up to give assistance to our colleagues and the people of Venezuela.
02:22I know you have to check that out.
02:29Thank you, Barbados.
02:32You're welcome.
02:32Have a great day.
