00:02OK, so if you don't know, India, I remade a comment about the song, and it was pretty much after
00:11the BET Awards when Young Miami came to the stage and they played, you know, they play a rejoin.
00:17They play a little bit of a hook when they come into the crowd and they turned it off and
00:23the crowd kept singing the whole thing.
00:25And you got to think the BET Awards got gospel folks in there. They got older folks in there, younger
00:31folks in there.
00:32And so everybody in there started singing this scamming anthem.
00:37And she went on the record by saying, you know, we have to watch what words have power.
00:42And she had these comments that she had. And if you don't know who India Irie is, then this might
00:48miss you.
00:49But those of you who do know, y'all know she gave you those those real Neosoul, like intrinsic kind
00:56of songs like Brown Skin and The Truth.
01:00And I mean, one of my defunct wedding songs, Ready for Love, like she has these great, really thoughtful songs.
01:09And she's for a better part of one of the Neosoul icons, like 25 years since Acoustic Soul.
01:17And it's just, you know, I mean, she had this to say she because she was accused of calling for
01:24a boycott of Young Miami's song.
01:26And she had this to say online.
