00:00Sa pagiging exposed natin sa technology,
00:02ginamit ito ng isang businessman
00:04para hindi lang tayo maging users
00:06kung hindi pwede rin tayo maging creators.
00:09Alamin natin ng iba pang detaly dito lang.
00:11Sa negosyo tayo.
00:22Hi Mr. Amit!
00:24Good morning!
00:25Alright, so let's talk about your business story.
00:28So, can you tell us more about this business?
00:30Today, the new generation is exposed to technology so much,
00:34but how to get them started
00:36so that they not just remain the users,
00:39but become creators, producers, and eventually leaders.
00:43It is all about educating children and teens
00:48and exposing them into the field of computer programming and robotics
00:53so that they are future-ready.
00:56You are collaborating with different schools
00:59and you offer them your technology educational programs.
01:03So, can you tell us more about this technology program?
01:06We work in two ways.
01:07One is that we are working directly with parents
01:10and we have a hub in Alabam
01:13where we invite students and we run classes
01:17and we also do online classes.
01:19The other part is we are enabling schools
01:21to run this program as part of their ICT subject or as clubs.
01:26What computer programming and robotics does, it enables children to develop creativity,
01:34problem-solving, time management, resilience.
01:39All those things are developed and enhanced as they learn through this
01:43besides being one of the most sought-after professions in the world.
01:48Off-cam, you mentioned and we were talking about that you just started this business a year ago.
01:54Can you tell us more about the reception, collaborations with different schools,
01:58and are there any struggles or challenges along the way?
02:01And one of the biggest challenges we have is awareness.
02:05But reception is very good.
02:08More parents who want overall growth of their children,
02:12they are continuously coming to us.
02:15Recently, in fact, we had four teams participated in an international robotics competition.
02:21And those teams stand first in Southeast Asia.
02:26Any lessons that you would like to share with our mga kanegosyo out there?
02:30When you want to start something, it has to go beyond just passion.
02:35You need to know the real need that you are trying to solve.
02:39It has to be bigger than just making money.
02:41Because there would be challenges, there would be difficulties that will come.
02:45And what is it that will keep you motivated and making sure even after those challenges,
02:50every day you go and do it and do that dirty work behind the scenes.
02:55Last question, Mr. Amit.
02:56Why is it important for Filipino family household or Filipino people to do business?
03:01It's like an expression of your creativity.
03:05Building a business is a creative work.
03:07And I see, I've been in the Philippines for the last 20 years.
03:10And I know Filipinos are so creative.
03:14And it's an expression.
03:15It's an expression to bring your vision to life.
03:22Huwag mong intayin, maging perfect yung plano mo.
03:26Magsimula ka muna.
03:28Sabi nga nila, action beats overthinking.
03:31See you next episode mga kanegosyo para sa inspiring business stories na ibabahagi namin sa inyo.
03:38Kaya naman tara, negosyo tayo.
