00:00Over here. No, over here.
00:03Day in the life of a dodo producer.
00:06The neighbor's cat is stuck in the tree.
00:09He was looking into my soul telling me,
00:11Girl, I have made a terrible mistake and you are my only savior.
00:15So, mission was a go.
00:18Can you please trust me and just come down?
00:21He can't get down.
00:24He's very high up.
00:26So, this is not ideal.
00:31I had seen this cat around a few times before,
00:33but I wasn't 100% sure who his parents were.
00:36And I didn't really want to waste time because the dude was stuck in a tree.
00:40So, I sort of just sprung into action right down there.
00:44We're quite high.
00:46He's panting a lot, so this is very stressful.
00:49I might be calling the fire department.
00:51I now have sneakers on.
00:54And I'm going to try to use this as a platform for him to jump onto.
01:01Also, before anyone judges me, I'm not an expert.
01:04Come on.
01:06Come on.
01:08Come on.
01:09Come on.
01:10Come on.
01:11Come on.
01:11Come on.
01:11Come on.
01:12Come on.
01:12Come on.
01:12Come on.
01:13Come on.
01:14Come on.
01:17It didn't work.
01:18I started sweating at levels that I did not know were possible.
01:22Things started to get a little chaotic from there because I started to do sort of like
01:25a American Ninja Warrior set in the backyard cat edition, which clearly did not work either.
01:33Calling my dad for help.
01:34He's been looking at the ladder.
01:37It's higher now because I put it on a table.
01:41You got it, buddy.
01:42My dad reminded me to be patient.
01:45That's when I realized the only way the cat was coming down is if I went up.
01:50So naturally from there, I anchored an extremely unstable ladder with a chaise lounge.
01:56I used my cat's carrier sort of as like a basket.
02:03And thank God it actually worked.
02:30I'm going to go get him some water.
02:36Good job, both of us.
02:38Okay.
02:39No more trees for you.
02:41Huh?
02:42No more trees for you.
02:45Good job.
02:47Yes.
02:48Good job, baby.
02:50Yay.
02:51Good job.
02:53It took us a few hours.
02:56But we rescued him, didn't we?
03:00Yeah, he just had some wet food.
03:02He's still pretty like stressed.
03:05So I've just been trying to calm him down.
03:08I've been trying to give him some water.
03:09He doesn't really want to drink any water.
03:11But we'll keep trying.
03:15The moral of the story is to never give up.
03:18He safely made it home.
03:19And even this morning, a day later, he came over to visit me.
03:25And I would like to think that it was his way of saying thank you.
03:27But from the look he gave me, I'm only 60% sure he's never climbing up a tree again.
03:35He just has to make it camera.
03:38He and I have 42 gaps .
03:45He's not trying to get away from his mind.
