00:00Maybe it's the same old story.
00:01You'll have to tell me.
00:03The Red Sox are sending Roman Anthony to Fort Myers.
00:07Fort Myers, Florida.
00:08That's where they have spring training.
00:10I don't know if everybody knows that,
00:12but that's the spring training site of the Red Sox.
00:16And they're sending Roman Anthony to Fort Myers with one goal.
00:22And that goal is make it back to Boston.
00:28It's a very good opportunity, Chad Tracy said,
00:32for Roman Anthony to not have to deal with much other than figuring out a way
00:36to return from a partially torn ligament in his right ring finger.
00:40That is from the story that Tim Healy wrote for the Boston Globe.
00:43It really outlines what the hell it is that's happening pretty nicely for you.
00:50Chad Tracy said, quote, we want him.
00:52We want him in the lineup.
00:53So I'm going to keep in touch with him frequently
00:56and see how he's doing with the hope that we get him back.
01:01Oh.
01:04The goal is to get yourself healthy
01:06and not have to deal with all the other stuff that goes with it.
01:10I'm sorry, what?
01:11The other stuff.
01:15When asked what that other stuff was, he said,
01:17well, it's just the day-to-day of being at Fenway
01:20and being constantly asked questions.
01:22Is Roman Anthony constantly speaking to the media?
01:27They've also added in that, well, the clubhouse is getting crowded
01:30with so many injured players.
01:32Gotcha.
01:32They got a crowded clubhouse, and it's a tight squeeze.
01:38And, oh, he's being constantly bombarded with questions about his injury.
01:43I'm sorry.
01:43Didn't he seek out the media to correct Sam Kennedy going back?
01:47I know it's been nine weeks since he got hurt.
01:50That's crazy, isn't it?
01:51Nine weeks.
01:51Nine weeks.
01:52Yeah.
01:52But didn't he seek out the media to issue his correction?
01:56Yes.
01:56That wasn't exactly being bombarded with questions.
01:59It means bothered every day.
02:02And so not only is he going to Fort Myers to get him out of here
02:08from all that other stuff, but they're also sending him to a new doctor,
02:13Gary Lurie.
02:15He is a hand specialist, and he's also the head physician of the Atlanta Braves.
02:21And he works out of the hand and upper extremity center of Georgia.
02:26So these are hand specialists.
02:28These are guys that do, you know, complicated, intricate surgeries of the hands.
