00:00It's ugly, and, you know, listen, it's six games,
00:02so you don't want to say this is who they are,
00:04this is what their season is going to be.
00:06We've been in this spot before with teams,
00:09and it's one week, and they get off to a terrible start,
00:11and then they flip a switch, and they win five straight.
00:14All right?
00:14It happens.
00:15The game is funny like that.
00:18But there are some real signs of dysfunction,
00:23and there are some signs of players certainly not living up
00:27to what the Red Sox hoped they would be.
00:30And I think that might be the part that sticks with you a little bit
00:33when you watch how disastrous third base has been to this point for the team
00:37given their decision-making on the roster over the last year at that position.
00:44They have messed that up so badly,
00:47and it's now rearing its ugly head in ways that it did not a year ago
00:52even when you had Bregman go down.
00:55I mean, it's a full-blown disaster there.
00:58For now, it might change.
01:00I understand that.
01:02But, wow, this is not going the way they hoped or any of us hoped.
01:08And to say a week ago you think they could be a 90-win team,
01:11and then you watch them for a week.
01:13No way.
01:13And I thought they could be a 90-win team, and I'm like,
01:16well, that 90-win is going to be a lot harder than I thought it was.
01:20What are they doing well?
01:22What do you look at and say, well, that's a great sign.
01:25That's going to pull them out of this.
01:27What's going to pull them up from where they are is my question.
01:30Connor Wong?
01:30What's going to do well?
01:30What's going to do well?
01:30What's going to do well?
01:31What's going to do well?
01:31What's going to do well?
01:31What's going to do well?
01:31What's going to do well?
