00:00Is there a different feel to practices with, like, Gary Patterson in there?
00:03Like, oh, yeah, he's run things on the defensive side with him out there?
00:08Yes, yes, there is.
00:10You know, coach is intense.
00:12He's always coaching.
00:14You know, he's very active at practice, you know,
00:16involved with a lot of the position groups.
00:19You know, he does a really good job, I think, of explaining to the group,
00:22you know, what we're doing, why we're doing,
00:24and bringing the whole group on the same page.
00:26And I think that's what, you know, really great coordinators do.
00:28And he's done a – yeah, you see him.
00:30I mean, he's with the D-line, and he's with the linebackers,
00:32and he's with safeties, and he's with the corners.
00:34I mean, he's just kind of – he's kind of just all over.
00:37And you feel his presence.
00:38I think defensively we feel his presence on the field.
00:40I think for our guys having the ability to tie in all that we're doing
00:43so that more players on the field have an overall understanding of not just their job,
00:49but, you know, why they do what they do, why we adjust, you know,
00:53where their other players are at.
00:54He's just – I think that's one of the things that makes him really good at his job.
00:57Did the structure change at all, just like maybe different periods or things?
01:01A few.
01:01Yeah, there's a few things that, you know,
01:04that he wanted to emphasize defensively that we've implemented.
01:06I don't know to the untrained eye if somebody would come out here
01:09and, like I say, it feels like a totally different practice.
01:12I mean, there's a lot of the periods that are the same.
01:13But we've certainly changed a couple of drills, both in special teams
01:18and in defense that have affected the practice structure.
01:21And so far, you know, I feel like they've been very positive.
01:24I know you've got to the right.
